Via the A2: Exit at Bad Salzuflen/Ostwestfalen-Lippe, then continue in the direction of Lemgo-Detmold and follow the signposts to the Hermannsdenkmal.
Via the A7: go onto the A44 and then take the Warburg exit, then continue in the direction of Brakel-Detmold. From there, follow the signposts to the Hermannsdenkmal.
You can get to us via bus on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays via the tourist bus route 792 to the car park at the Hermann monument. The bus goes from Detmold station, bus stop 9. On weekdays, you can take route 703 (Kreuzweg stop) or 704 (Hiddeser Straße stop), which go to Hiddesen, and then walk from there to us. Additional information: www.stadtverkehr-detmold.de
Via bicycle, you can find us on the core cycle routes R1, R3, R5, R7, R49, R51 and R53 as well as the Roman route. As we are located in the heart of the walking region, you can also get to the Hermannsdenkmal and thus to us via the train cycle route Weser-Lippe and other regional themed routes.
We are located in the walking heart of Europe, which means there are many trails that lead directly to us. The two best-known ones are the long-distance walking trail E1 and the Hermannsweg trail. But there are also numerous other themed routes and regional walking paths that will lead you to us. Simply follow the signs to the Hermannsdenkmal.
